A couple of pickups. First is my truck taken from the bed of Old tRusty, a 1980 long bed that belongs to my buddy Dean. This is the approach to Red Cone, near Montezuma, CO. The second is of Old tRusty, taken near Radical Hill, on the Michigan Creek side not far from Jefferson, CO.


I haven't made it up to Red Cone yet this year, but I hope to soon. It is one of my favorite places to get views from.

Breathing in the dust of Kilimanjaro . . . on the way into Amboseli across the ancient Lake Amboseli bed, by the western "road," through Maasailand.

Camp at the Kenya Wildlife Service Campground. Pretty vile long-drop, but the view of Kilimanjaro at dawn was pretty amazing. The Roof of Africa looms in the mist just above the tree.
