Range Rover Classic Experiance?

That last bit sounds like good advice for any Rover really. And the first, sounds like a ridiculously nice rig.

i'm just passing on what's been told to me time and time again. as for the dream rangie - maybe some day. I'd love to build a clone of the Devon4x4 RFC challenge truck. If I could only have one truck, it'd be saner with the 7.50's and above specs.

That was my point. I have NEVER seen one, short of gray market imports and very very early (read: rusted to bits and basically worthless) US market RRCs. Thats why I made the statement about the delete. Sure, you could unbolt an older models roof panel and replace yours for the sunroof-less roof but where are you going to find one?

not entirely accurate. almost all of the '87's had solid tops with no sunroofs. you can find many of the 88's w/o a sunroof, too.

That being said, I did find a '92 Hunter for sale and an '83 4 door 3.5/ LT95 RRC for sale that have really piqued my interest.

pick up that '83 with the the LT95 and drop in a rebuilt 4.2L. that would be a nice truck put together correctly and not violated with bolt-ons beyond what would fit into the axles without modifying them.

Heres a question: Why are people so hot for 1995 LWB's? Curious.

some people are all hot after the more discovery style dash and interior that was only offered in '95. i don't like it, myself. I had a '94 LWB and the walnut brown leather interior was very nice with a black exterior.

cheers

I agree. Part of what makes the RRC unique is the earlier dash.
