Ratchet Straps - Need some good ones

Very nice. That photo piqued my interest. I like the idea of a permanently-mounted retractable ratcheting tie-down. I did some searching, and the price range on those is pretty huge. All the way from $100+ down to the best deal I've found so far: $50/pair at CargoGear.com.

These look like they may be a good alternative to ratchet straps or heavy duty truck bungies on our rack for NATO can storage. hmmm, i might order a pair!

They'd be perfect if the ratchet mech locked. I might try 'em too.

One change to note: the grey rubber handles are now orange. For something I'm going to permanently attach to my truck or trailer, I really don't like the new day-glo orange....

Goto TSC (Tractor Supply) They have some good quality stuff, there prices are fair. They have a real nice tree saver for 15.00 too.

My favorites are called DuoLoc, made by CargoLoc. I believe they are 8 feet long and have both a cam lock and a ratchet mechanism. Snug them up by just pulling the loose end, like a cam lock strap. Then a couple of strokes on the ratchet handle to tighten them.

I found them at a farm supply store several years ago and bought 8 of them. I would like more but have not been able to locate them again, even online. If anyone knows of a source, I would sure appreciate knowing about it.
