Had the new cargo drawers installed today and installed a worklamp w/ a 1w LED bulb last week. The low wattage LED bulb lets me run the worklamp as long as I want w/o even stopping to consider if it is going to kill the battery.
Roller drawers, very stout locks, bolted from the inside to the rear jumpseat attachment points on the floor, and from D-rings on the outside of the drawer to the 2nd row seat attachment points on the floor. The drawer occupies the space between the two wheel wells. The remainder is covered with plywood wings and carpeted over. These wings can be lifted and stuff can be stored in them, and gear can be placed on top of them.
On the left side, I removed my cubby and the air tank/compressor now sits under the drawer wing. I'll replumb the air hookup to be available w/o lifting the wing and I'll create an air vent of some sort so the compressor doesn't over heat. The right side will be used to store something that is infrequently used or only used in camp like the showerhead.
The fridge slide will be installed into glued in t-nuts using knob screws so the whole thing can be easily removed. I'll put tie-downs elsewhere to hold the pelican(s) and other gear down as well as secure the elastic net that I usually put across the top to hold lightweight stuff.
Dog guard will go in next week.
The tent opens over the area for shade and protection from rain. It also has a "changing room" that can be used to provide additional protection if necessary.
