Jockey wheel issues:

The location is way too narrow to the rear spare wheel!

13608505tn.jpg

On the other hand the rear door opens now without hindrance of the hand brake lever! :victory:

13608506gw.jpg

So the original bracket came off.

13608508wx.jpg

13608509jq.jpg

It was used for the new designed bracket:

It's similar to the MKIII design.

The steel connectors of the lamps liked to be ruined by corrosion.
This is the way out: Sticked them into a solid Aluminum bracket!

My camera went out of duty this time. Following pix were shot during the time the lathe was on duty.

Thanks Thoma s!

After some years in use the leaf springs looked a little bit rusty.

13825607zy.jpg

To get them refreshed they had to be disconnected.

With the rear and front legs push the chassis up until the springs are unladen. Wheels even are just touching the ground!

13825610ux.jpg

Unscrew the nuts from the spring clamp.

13825609on.jpg

Swing the clamp plate connected to the damper out of the way.

13825611kn.jpg

Unscrew the shackel bolt of the rear end.

13825612so.jpg

Let the spring leaf come down.

13825613db.jpg

Same procedure on the other side, dismantel the leafs, put some colour on them if you want but grease them!

13825608jc.jpg

It only doesn't look like new afterwards, they'll work as new!

13825614lq.jpg

Be sure the centerbolt's head finds the hole inside the axle plate when assembling! :Wow1:

Thanks for watching.

Summertime!

We still have a lot of rain and uncomfortable weather conditions here. But the daylight is much longer present! That's about the good vibrations about this region.
But thinking about the long period of bad vibrations, while camping outside, it will be much more comfortable to have an oven inside, keeping the crew warm!

So I bought an used wood feeded Swedish army oven with a long chimney.

15003944eg.jpg

15003945dl.jpg

15003946gc.jpg

Pitched up the tent (to get it dried, to be honest), made a hole in a sidewall and lined the chinmey out with a bent of 50°.

15004058zv.jpg

The ripp-stop wall will be protected from heat by aluminum sheets, which can be closed by an other one in fact the sun will be outside.

15004063rq.jpg

15004064nz.jpg

15004066yh.jpg

To get the chimney hold in place, it is supported by this:

15004067jz.jpg

15004068sz.jpg

And it works well!

Set on the hell fire again:

15004143ta.jpg

15004145tl.jpg

The radiation tube gets warm, but that will be ok, I hope ...

15004146ye.jpg

... the aluminum sheets doesn't get warm.

15004147kv.jpg

The only remaining thing is a rain protector. This is on duty.

Sounds like a plan A?

Defo sounds like a good plan, looking great, love the under cover cooking area. Can you cover the sides in to enclose this area.:Wow1:

Thank you for your complements!

And yes, all walls can be closed by side walls. But then the oven is hidden! :Wow1:
