Bet they'd give you a great deal on that teardrop after that excellent review! Seriously, after reading your well written review and seeing those great pics I really want to check one out.
I also must say I've read many of your posts here and on mud.....simply put....Adventureduo is awesome!!! Really, you guys rock and are livin' the life (in my book). Thank you! Steve

Yes, that is their newest trailer. Minimalist trailer, sort of like a chaser version of their fully equipped Tear. Pretty dang cool, and very light!

Saw some of the pics on Facebook but finally had time to check these out. Nice work dude! I dig the teardrop but wonder how it would work in areas out of the arid southwestern region. One of my challenges with my setup is being able to live, prepare food, and relax in a variety of conditions from nice dry sunny weather, to wet and cold weather, to snow. Seems like with the kitchen setup built off the back it would be hard to provide shelter for. Another question, with the awning deployed, how tall is it? Doesn't look like you could stand under it. I couldn't get all the pictures to load with my slow internet, perhaps I missed a pic of it deployed. Anway, thanks for sharing.

Great questions Kristian!

Awning, depending on tire size, is anywhere from 76"-80" at the trailer. The awning can be setup sloping down, flat, or sloping up. Even on their road trailers, awning height hasn't been a problem.

Hatch coverage is minimal for rain. It is enough for a quick "open and grab", even enough to make a sandwich, but not really enough for cooking. They're road going customers usually bring a small EZ-up type shelter if they are expecting rain. As for us, if weather gets bad we plan on pulling up the 80 series with the hannibal and fully enclosing the rear of the trailer with the side skirts provided as a changing room. I know that SCT is working on a few different solutions to this that they will update us with in the near future.

As most everyone on this board knows, there isn't a perfect platform that will address EVERY situation. Creativity and expanding your comfort zone is what makes camping in adverse conditions so much fun!!! :victory:
