Actually, Dan is Spressomon.

Locrwln (low crawling) is Jack, friend of Ali, etc.

I keep meaning to, but I am usually on my way to work at 6am, so I don't think you want me pounding on your door that early. I will make it a point sometime soon though.:26_7_2:

Awww crap, there went the neighborhood but DO pound on Rob's door at 0600, he should be going to bed right around that time :)

Was it the weekend before?

We both saved each other that week I guess. After my two flats, how many of us were in the rover? 5 guys and two big dogs :hehe:

As you can see I don't get as far off the beaten track as you guys! Somewhat lacking in ground clearance ;-)

Dude, Charlie! Your ride is looking NICE! And you've got me a bit jealous with your trip there... though it looks like you aren't able to hold nearly as much gear as we were. :p

How'd you get that thing down to Barcelona? Ferry it most of the way or did you hop the Chunnel?

Duncan,
aye we will that! Dinna leave it oor lang noo!!

Grady,
Yeah luggage space is a tad limited but you'd be surprised how much you can squeeze in. Teaches you to be disciplined with packing.
Just shaken hands on a new sensible ride, I'll post some pics when the deal is done. Lets just say it's Bavarian & will carry us all to the Nurburgring & manage a very quick lap!! ;-) Get your plans started for a European trip with Mr Wright.
Took the ferry to Le Havre, then drove all the way through France. Only incident was a very expensive run in with Les Gendarmes, apparantly my driving "eez denjerooos"!! Barcelona was incredible!!! I've fallen in love with that city. More snaps on my facebook / bebo, the loon can give you a link.

All the best, catch you sometime

Charlie

Was this taken with just a standard digital camera... or any tricks involved?:

Wow! Not sure how I missed this one first time around. Great trip, and an even better trip report.

Fireworks were taken with a Sony 10 megapixel digital. It looks like a SLR, that is you can change the lense, I think you can change the shutter speed too. Not sure what the settings were on the camera though....

Sweet camera though

Actually... I was trying to get a shot but the flash kept going off. So I held down the lamp and the shutter button. So these pictures were actually accidental. Pretty good for a mistake!

And the camera was actually a Sony Alpha 10.2mp Digital SLR... Gonna get one of my own when I get the $ together. :bigbossHL:
