Tundra.... Would you switch from a new Ram Powerwagon?

Sorry for mean post @Judoka!

Ha! It's all good man! I jabbed back. But thank you for saying that! It is easy to just hide behind words on a screen, and it is NOT easy to step forward and make an apology! That is VERY cool indeed! To be honest, I threw a hand grenade into the mix to see the outcome. Not the most diplomatic approach by any means, but effective to find the passion and conviction. Again, Thank You!

So, this is directly from Toyota? I am kind of surprised that Tundra has not been better received here. As I said, I was very seriously considering a trade into one, but it does not seem the best choice for me. I have had no challenges with Camry nor with 4Runner nor Tacoma, but Tundra seems to be met with apprehension. Thank you for the link!

What kind of apprehension? They are great trucks. The engines have a 6 bolt main. The rear end is the size of a 14 bolt. Huge brakes What's no to like about them?
Here is a picture of a tundra wheel bearing next to a super duty wheel bearing

This is not a surprise most truck guys are very loyal to there brand. Most of the time if you are a Toyota guy your a Toyota guy, if you are a Ford guy, or Chevy guy that's it. So a survey that shows people like there Tundra does not surprise me.

The truck market in forums is very bias because of brand loyalty. Everyone is either talk up there preferences or bash the other guy.

Yea and no. How does your theory explain why dodges are rated low and other manufacturers are rated low?

My theory is that this survey is from Toyota, so who created it, who was surveyed, how many were surveyed, where was the data collected? It just seems like those dealer commercials that use skewed information to push there brand and bash others. I am not saying that there isn't true info here but you can go to any forum and there will be guys talking about how great there brand is and they will have graphs and charts that show it is great. You just have to get out there and see for yourself. Then make a decision on what fits your needs.

Ok? Well it's your theory I guess. Not sure where you come up with that idea from. I'm willing to bet any survey will put toyotas at the top.

I'm not saying Toyota wouldn't be at the top of any survey. In fact I am fully aware that Toyota makes a great brand but right now we are just talking about trucks. Right now most people will tell you that the truck market is a wash as far as quality and reliability it just comes down to style preferences and what you are willing to compromise.

Dodge?
So where is RAM on that chart? I see Dodge, but not RAM. In the interest of accuracy in 2015, it would seem that a manufacturer or any organization gathering accurate information would not overlook the fact that Ram is not Dodge. In fact I see Buick, Saturn etc. instead of just GM, so it seems less credible to me. Semantics maybe, but it created doubt in my mind as to the accuracy or at the very least the competency of those gathering the data.

Ram is dodge. It's not it's own company. Maybe if you searched a little you would see.

Wow! Then for the past 3.5 years when I was a Certified Chrysler Sales Professional, they were lying to me huh? Interesting indeed. So, it is the company then and not the brand? So, General Motors...not Chevrolet? Well, I guess FCA might want to know that info then.

Honestly I guess it does not matter. I appreciate the chart either way. I just like to source any information that comes my way.
