nice pics! so you guys camped at gooseneck state park? was it crowded? I'm driving to Arches from chicago in a couple of weeks.. wondering if I should head further south.. I wonder if these area will be closed for the season?

Should be open, but check the website for Arches National Park for accurate info. Won't be crowded but it will be cold for sure!

As the others have already said, great read as usual. I felt a little cold just reading that!:REOutCampFire03:

oops, I'm late. Great writeup Dave and thanks for letting me and Pep tag along, was a good one.

Chilly though :REOutCampFire03: let's go back after it warms up a bit!

Got any specs/pics on that Tundra? That looks right up my alley and big enough to camp mama, daddy, and our two chitlins in.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Yep it's pretty big, should handle that crew. It's an 07 Tundra doublecab longbed with a flippac. With the raised floor the area in the bed is 5' x 8'.

There are some pics here, I never did a build thread cause the truck is pretty much stock except for BFG AT tires, just the camper buildout. Which is likely to undergo a complete change soon ... :coffee:

Dave, Linda, just saw this. Great photos as always. Looked like a good time. Sorry I couldn't meet up with you guys but looking at the temps I don't think I would have been too stoked with no camping gear, sleeping in a rental truck with my ski gear! haha Did you guys check out Mulie Point at all? At the top of Mokie Dugway you hang a left down a dirt road that follows the edge of the mesa. There is an incredibly spectacular vantage point that overlooks the Goosenecks from up high. Definately a must see on your next trip down that way. Thanks for sharing!
