Why are most aftermarket wheels so BroDozer?

I too disdain 99% of aftermarket wheels. For F-150, I've always liked these steelies--timeless, functional, understated--all business.
these are 7 lug wheels from the HDPP F150, not compatible with most F150s. I believe the XL non HDPP trucks did have a similar style steel wheel though that should fit any trim F150

the wheel manufacturer rotiform recently (at least to my knowledge) released their STL line of wheels. aluminum wheels that look like classic steel wheels. Still 9" wide and low offset though. Can't have your cake and eat I guess?

Ebay is where I picked my take offs from with "make an offer". Ebay shows the shipping and taxes are so it was easy to compare with local prices.

The ones Stockton are simple but the set you show on the Land Cruiser are split rims. I'm not sure anyone's going to have those unless you're a commercial or big truck user in the U.S.
School me on split rims
Thinking about going to a split rim for my 78 40 pls. School me,I don't know anything about them versus the oem steelies I have on there. Do you need to run an inner tube? Can you mount a modern tubeless tire? Pros and cons between between split and oem steelies besides able to change a tire on...

Nothing... I bought them to put on a '94 GMC reg cab short box. But, ended up selling them after I traded the truck for a '64 Riviera. I debated them for the Riv but changed my mind.

Yeah I know those are split rims - the point was the simple design. The older FJ40 rims looked very sim and were not splits, which are all very sim to the 22 series that the dudes on IH8MUD buy....The ones Stockton are simple but the set you show on the Land Cruiser are split rims. I want to see the retro thing they were on.
Those are gorgeous on the right vehicle like an old 1950s Studebaker or a slammed hard body Nissan.
But what were yours on.
