Went on a trail run last Saturday and communicated with the 2 meter. All i have to say is wow, what a difference. Ran both CB and 2 meter on the trail and the CB sounded terrible. It's like night and day.

My assigned call sign was clumsy and hard to remember so I applied for and was just approved for a new "vanity" call sign:

K7EDB

It's simple: my license level and area, followed by my initials!

Sorry, I guess I am no longer a member of the KE7Oxx club!
