Hey All!
I was lucky enough to purchase an ARB front winch bumper for my trooper and the gentleman threw in a set of shrockworks rock sliders for $50. They were still wrapped in plastic. I am curious as to how most have installed them on their vehicles. I know that welding is always an option, but I would like to be able to remove them and repaint them if necessary. Has anyone else had any luck with bolting them to their frames?
I am an extremely competent welder, I was a bodyman for ten years before I took the leap into the front office, so I know I can weld them to my frame no problem.
If bolting, can they still be used as highlift points? I would hate to be jacking the vehicle and have the bolts tear through the frame. Any insight would help. Thanks!
