Good Lord...been looking for almost exactly this set up for a year now. Wonder how much it would cost to swap the 460 for a 7.3. What kinda mpg are you getting with the 460?

Highway cruising at 65 I can average 11. Last trip to Colorado I got 11.53 to Grand Junction from Salt Lake, Then 150 miles offroad I got 9.2. I-70 from Grand Junction to Salina running at 75 got 9.

i am slightly interested in this. is the 460 fuel injected? I am up in Wyoming, and may have time to come look in about 2 weeks when i have my next days off, I work 14 days on and 7 off. This seems pretty appealing when i am considering a new slide in for my 1/2 ton at about 10grand for a shell. do you know what HP that engine is? Is this the "twin I beam" front suspension? I also have a 5.3/6l80e/transfer case sitting around for a jeep that has lost some of my interest. probably not a good fit for such a heavy rig though. :chef:

1.the camper is center but the passenger side is built out for the interior corner closet. usually there is a slide drawer on the drivers side to fill the space but I put the torpedo propane tank there.
2. Had a tire blow out and has rolled the bottom edge of the bed behind the wheel. I was going to put a flatbed on it but have changed directions.
Thanks for asking.

I have dreamed of putting a cummins 12valve into this truck since I got it. But Life changes directions at times and I already have a dodge with a cummins and the wife convinced me that I really don't need 2 trucks along with all the other toys. So I sold my jeep, sold my drz400 bike and the Lance camper. I am currently building another alaskan camper to go on the dodge and replaced the jeep with a 4runner, and changing how I go exploring and traveling. In fact I am going out solo this morning with the 4runner this weekend to try the new rtt out. I just finished the suspension along with new wheels and tires on the 4runner so time to try it out. Willing to make someone a great deal. I know somebody wants this truck.

An obviously honest and factual answer.

Bump. :)

The fold up walls are fully functional and present. It was a hot day and I was enjoying the breeze with them down.
