Equalizer Strap

Any thoughts on these....picked up a TJM model. Seems to be popular in Australia when I did a google search...not many options here in the states.

I figure it may be better to have this strap to distribute the forces.

Ahhhh.... Like Tom mentioned it's a bridle. I've used a tree strap in same application.

OK, I know what a kinetic strap is and does, know what a bridle is and does....why can't they just call it a bridle?

I wonder if the capacity rating of that TJM is in a straight pull or the derated capacity when used as a bridle.

At 3" wide...I'm guessing straight pull. $22.50 seems relatively inexpensive especially since it's being marketed as a recovery type of strap.

I've been using a bridle for years.. My rig has a pair of recovery points on both the front and rear, and it's easier on the points to spread the load.
The ARB tree strap has a 26,500lb breaking strength, and comes in either a 10' or 16' option.

Thanks for the info....waiting for the TJM strap to come in and I will see what kind of quality....believe it is at 17500 breaking strength.

Updated with pics...everything looks good...strap is white instead of black. For the price I am happy....even got a bag.

Did you get it from that Fat Bob's site previously listed? They list the black one at 75mm, closer to 3" where as the one you show is only 2 1/2". Just curious.
