Ok, so i'm back! I'll keep it short and simple, but the Subaru just wasn't doing it for me and I really started to miss my old 4Runner, as did my other counterpart. So one week after selling my Subaru to a gent from Vegas, I was back in the hunt. I knew the Toyota Tax would be prevalent, but that's ok! My search concluded roughly one week after the sale of my Subaru, and I now find myself as the proud owner of a 1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited. Let's take a trip, down memory lane.

I'm stoked and really happy about the purchase :sombrero:.

My first additional touches came in the form of roughly $3. I like to make improvements wherever I can, and love it when it can be done cheaply. Working at the local Hardware store, I have easy access to lots of nuts, bolts, screws, etc. I've done this before in my XJ and thought this beaut rightfully deserved the same treatment.

I went with a Truss head to fill in the space and worked great. I replace 17 screws total.

Very nice. I'm fond of my 99 as well! Good pic and looking forward to more pics!

Thanks. As money allows, it will slowly get to where I believe it needs to be!

Awesome to see you back at it, especially with a 3rd Gen! Great platform as you already know. Keep up the good work.

Yeeew! It was so good driving 100+ miles back home yesterday. The ride is just phenomenal, as well as the comfort.

Glad to see you back in a 4runner, I really loved your '00. It was so clean, can't wait to see the mods!

I loved the '00 too. Money talks sometimes though, but it's all good. The body is completely straight on this Runner, where as the '00 had some blemishes on the rear. Dented tail gate, as well as dented bumper. I'm looking forward to making this one my own though!

Ya! Stoked that you got a 4runner again! Can't wait to see how your build goes.

It was that or a Tacoma. I have a lot of confidence in Toyota platforms. As much as I loved my Jeep, their 4Runner just completely blows it out of the water in almost every category for me. Such a big difference, even though they were the same years.

Wow, a 99 Tall Coil limited - that's kind of a "holy grail" 4runner (like an 09 TE.)

Are you going to pull the running boards off? IMO they look better without them.

Welcome to the 99 4runner club. Congratulations on finding the all important J Shifter. Push button to make it act like your old Subaru, and Shifter to make it act (better than) your old jeep.

Yeah, aside from the not having the Sport Hood, this is about as loaded as you can get. I really rather have the bare necessities when it comes to the interior (IE. cloth interior, roll up windows, manual seats, etc.) but just have to pick and choose. The leather is in great condition, and all electronics work besides the Lumbar feature on the driver seat which I'm sure is an easy fix.

Thanks. I like the statement; well done. You've got yourself one nice looking 4Runner. I really dig the color matched bumper. I want an ARB Tacoma Bull Bar down the road and am thinking about color matching it. Fingers crossed for finding one on CList for a few bones off!

Nice 4Runner, each 3rd Gen T4R post on Expo makes my wife's Forester a little more scared..
