Seems like it. It's a really common problem with our vintage Nissans for some reason. Just about the flimsiest construction I could think of, no corrosion resistance.

Exhaust rattles are the worst. I had one in my Camaro a long time ago.. Unfortunately the cure for that was to cut my custom y-pipe up and re-weld some things.. In the end though, it was worth it to not have a rattle box car..

Nice dog, I have the same stove
small and works like a charm, i usually carry a lighter or a firesteel etc to light it, perfect for day hike lunches or longer backpacking/canoeing
only $40 too, I've had mine for 4 or 5 years now

4 weeks and 12 hours until I head south for 10 days into West Virginia and A swing through PA again and Gettysburg on the way home.
Picked up this piece of kit today (was actually a birthday present on back order) should be great for collecting and splitting firewood.

That is one beautiful looking axe! Total work of art there. Looks right at home next to those Danners.
That trip sounds like a blast too. I'm a little jealous, I haven't been able to explore the east coast nearly as much as I'd like. I'm a big history guy, so that's the place to be in the US. It's also just beautiful this time of year.

I am likewise Jealous of the west, but I haven't finished out here yet so it doesn't make to go west, just yet. I am really looking forward to Gettysburg

There's something to be said for using an exceptionally crafted tool like that.
We do have the vistas, this is true. It's a completely different atmosphere. Sometimes it feels like a different country! I'm sure Gettysburg will be a great experience. Americans sure do know how to keep a historical site.
