ARB Fridge/Freezer Cash Rebate!

Well, I think this is really nothing more than trolling. These units have been on the market quite some time and run through many off road tests. The question is not about the Danfoss compressor but other design elements. i say if you're happy to have with another company...move on. The OP was to let consumers of ARB products know there's a deal right now. I'm the the happy owner of a ARB 50qt and an Isotherm at double the money. You get what you pay for and if you think it's all identical (just because it's Danfoss) you're mistaken.

You really are doing more trolling than people just asking product questions. What is your motive here?

Just because a product has bee on the market for quite awhile does not mean that all 7 billion people on earth have been exposed to the product details or the competitors.

As I mentioned earlier, I know nothing about any of these products. Which is why when I see a thread like this and people ask questions I'm curious to see what the answers are. It might stimulate just enough interest and education to make me start looking at refrigerators and even decide that its a good time to take advantage of the cash back offer.

Just seeing the cash back offer isn't enough for me personally to take action. At least without knowing more. But, I'm not even sure where to start with searches or questions yet. It all starts from reading a thread here and there. Unfortunately, it's the free speech police like you that often ruin good sales opportunities for companies link this.

If they have something's to hide, and you don't want it to come out then by all means try to protect your interest in the company and keep the lies hidden. Otherwise this is a great opportunity to sell product!!

I'm amazed at all this banter and nobody has yet to talk about the virtues of the product!! Why not do your own sales pitch on why they are so good instead of bashing other people?

Now you are just aggravating me. You seem to continue to **** in the thread also. Don't know why folks gotta be *******s and continue to spout their negative opinions in someone's thread, be it an individual or company.

I figure TJ was just a troll because most of his 30 posts have been trying to sell crap. You have been around longer than I have. You are the reason we have to have "free speech police". Can't keep your mouth shut when need be.

Not sure about fridges? Try "best 12v fridge" in google. That may get you a couple of results. That's what I did before I bought mine.

And there is no one offering up info on the product because it is all out there already. Do the research yourself.

It's like an idiot coming into the Toyota For Sale thread and saying "Tacomas are over priced, Jeeps rule!" If you don't like a product then move along.

I am done with this crap though. You two are obviously going to continue to keep talking and being argumentative. Feel free to post all you want about how you have the right to question a company in their discount thread, how the man has got ya down, and the great injustice and greed of ARB. You are joining TJ on my ignore list.

Apparently you can't read vey well which is what must be leading to your frustration.

I haven't said a single negative thing about the company or their products. I actually wanted to see what the answer to the question was. But instead its trolls like you screwing up the thread for those of us interested in the products.

Why post crap like "search google" when there is a representative from the company right here in this thread that could provide all sorts of great product information? It's YOU at are screwing that up! Not people asking questions or waiting to see what those answers might be!

The ENTIRE POINT of a forum is to have discussions about this stuff. Why try to squash that?

Start another thread about why you were smarter than everyone else and saved money by buying something else. It's level 2 d-bagery to post in a thread about a rebate. There was a thread one here recently from an RTT company offering a group buy. A level2 posted why he would never buy that brand in that thread... it was a level 2 move then, and it's a level 2 move here.

I didn't. But I guess you didn't actually read the thread and see who posted what.

All I said was that I'd be interested in knowing the answer to the other guys question in order to learn about het product. You are being the the Dbag by coming in and calling names. Talk about poor form.

I am searching for a fridge for family trips and the "Coolers" seem to be inadequate while very affordable, other options are actual refrigerators and are much more expensive. The ARB equipment seems to be the best value when considering ruggedness. Other popular overland options are 150% more in upfront cost. The comparative units mentioned earlier in this thread are not much less than the ARB and (so far) of un-known overland durability.

ARB is still at the top of my list and this Rebate certainly helps.

Bought one and sent in rebate form. How long should it take to get refund?

I submitted my rebate paper work within a week of the rebate starting. What is the timeframe of the rebate?

Yes, your line of questioning is a ********** move! If you do not want an ARB fridge or plan to buy one then move along! Quit ****ting in their thread. Go start your own about how great you and your fridge are and you can discuss all of this there. That way the vendors thread stays clear. This forum is lightly moderated. Please keep it clear of crap like this so it remains so. Thanks!

Well actually I would like to know as well so I don't think he is being out of line. I have no experience with this type of coolers and am trying to learn. When somebody says something has NO problems, my BS radar is activated because being an test engineer, I know that is complete BS. The solution is to answer his question with facts, not try and bully him off the thread.

I bought my first ARB refrigerator 10yrs ago and loved it but it took up so much room in my TJ as the family got bigger I just couldn't fit it anymore. I sold it to a trucker friend of mine who drives cross country in his big rig. I see him often and he always thanks me for selling him the ARB because how we'll it works. It's been almost 7yrs since he installed it and it has never been turned off....!! Sure no off roading but a lot of hwy, city streets and bumpy roads out their.

I've since moved to a JKU and building my Expo rig for family fun & camping. I wanted to buy the ARB first but had to go with some other larger items first, like my ARB STUBBY frt bumper, ARB rear bumper, OME Susp, Warn winch, GOBI Rack, ARB roof top tent, Genesis dual battery, 2-Yellow Top batteries. I have a few small items to buy through out the winter, kids birthdays, Christmas soon but I can feel the new yr approaching soon and that time is ME time. So after the new yr I'll be adding my ARB fridge. My son & I will be doing the KAT Trail this summer and wouldn't think of going without the ARB....

I've drove a Jeep my whole life, feels like home behind the wheel...
I've always used Coleman grille, feels like home cooking on it...
I've always used ARB, that front bumper to push my way through places I shouldn't be...
I've always used ARB, snatch straps when I went to far and needed a tug...
I've always used ARB, for keeping my DEW cold because it feels like home...
I've always bought ARB, is it the Best? To me it is......!!!

When I find a great product and use it for years it becomes part of the family, a trusted member of the crew. I'm happy that my 12 yr old is enjoying the outdoors and since of adventure with me as I did with my dad.

We'll time to get ready for football game today, my sons team is 7-0 and today we plan on making it 8-0 then move into the play offs next week. And of course to celebrate (win or lose) we will be camping tonight at Beasley Knob in North Ga. Yes, we will be sleeping in our ARB Roof Top Tent....

I bought this fridge 3 years ago and we have really put it through hell. The first year I didn't use it much so I got to the point where I felt I didn't need it. So I didn't take good care of it and in the second and third year I left it in the back of my pickup. Rain, blazing heat and car washes it just sat back there. Then we started using it more and more, had a camping trip then had a baby that need juice 24/7 then onto our bass boat because why not. Then one day it just stopped working, no big surprise since it wasn't water proof and after hours of rain, numerous times if finally died.

I called the company as the whole family was upset. Got a live person who sent me to a tech and I was ready to just order another one. The tech stated that he would send me some parts, just plug and play to see what was wrong. Long story short I have my fridge back and it works like a charm. It goes inside the vehicle now, (mostly) but I am confident now I can take this thing apart and fix/replace the 6 or 7 components.

So why is it worth more? It always works, never kills the battery and just works. The service was there so I would never buy another brand.

I would like an ARB, only I must decide which size suits me the most. I drive a two door JK. One to two people at most if roaming the boondocks for a few days or so. We camp, enjoy, then hit it come Monday Morn.

I have grown tired of the melting ice issues, the soggy food, drenched meat syndrome. As I am still using my stock Jeep battery I assume it to be ok to run overnite safely without draining. I do like the idea of a second battery for such purpose.

Let’s go already!
Love my ARB, got refund within 5 weeks or so. Great product, works as advertised.

A few things I noticed that help raise the price is they have drain plugs and better locations for their controls vs the dometic/Weaco models they are based on.
P.S thanks tjrubicon for stirring up the fan boys. You had a perfectly reasonable question aimed at the best possible person to answer it.
