Nor Cal Thanksgiving trip?

Just wondering if anyone wants to get together for a holiday run to Frank Raines? I haven't been there and thought I'd check it out now that fire season in over.

Keep me posted, looks like the family is staying in Bay Area for thanksgiving so depending on the day I'd be up for taking the Montero out there.

I'll be heading up earlier in the week to set up camp nearby. Friday or Saturday works for me. I'm going no matter what. Just thought it wouldbe good to meet some other Montero guys for the area. I've met 5x more of the Az crew than the locals here. Thinking that needs to change.

If anyone is interested, me and my brother are going to tear up La Grange OHV early early on Thanksgiving day. If you have never been there, it's about 45 minutes east of Modesto. It's a lot of fun there, especially after rain.

We plan to get there about 7 am. I know it's early but it's worth it to go there early before all the motoX and other people get there. We will probably stay for 2-3 hours.

I'll be in my Gen 1 Monty and he has a Taco. Lots of fun hill climbs and other stuff, and really nasty clay-like mud if you want to slide around on back side.

We got CB radios, and hope to see a few of you out there.

If you are interested in going early thanksgiving morning, maybe I'll convince my bro to go there instead of La Grange... I've never been to frank raines, I thought it was hella small and mostly for motoX but after watching youtube videos it looks pretty big.

Guess I got lucky when i did both at once. Ya know it wouldn't take much arm twisting to convince me to meet up with some of the AZ crew at the Toroweep instead. Pretty cool up there.

let's do it. i'll be driving to oklahoma city the following week, and toroweep is on the way. i could always leave early and spend a few days out there. think we can convince LT to come along?

turns out i don't have to drive to OKC and the AZ crew is otherwise occupied so i'm headed to death valley instead. i have the week plus both weekends free to play, so why not? base camp will be on the nevada side. if anyone wants to join the fun for a day or three let me know and we'll figure out a spot to meet.

So Frank Raines on Friday after Thanksgiving is out? Just got back early Monday morning from four days in DV. Got to drive a number of trails I hadn't been on before. If you need some suggestions ping me? I think I've now covered everything in the park either from the seat of a motorcycle or in a truck.
