Took a day off work and drove way too many miles to buy this Gen 2.5. The body is straight as can be, sunburnt hood and roof, undercarriage clean & rust free. Engine clean with no noises. So why didn't I bring it home? Interior is trashed and transfer case non-functional, lever rows around like stirring a can of paint. Lots of switchgear broken, mirrors all wobbly, seats horrible. Too much of a project for me. Can be bought for $3k maybe less. No documentation, figure on timing belt, etc. Good find for the right guy.

The hunt continues.

Not sure about a rear locker. It has the HOLD button. I'm learning as I go, not sure what the HOLD button does. So what would it be worth if the interior was decent and the t-case was right?

Vague description and lack of pictures screams run away from it, and 2000 model year never offered a locker.

Had a phone conversation with the guy and based on that I went. I ran away. No locker isn't a deal killer for me. Being totally mislead about condition is.

My beater (1998 LS) is nicer and lower milage than that one and i only want $1700 located in Mesa Az if you want to take it for a test drive/wheeling adventure you'll just have to tailgate me to the trail so the cops don't catch me in my pickup.
