Can't go wrong with the three options you are looking at. As the majority of folks will tell you on this site it will come down to what you intend to do with the rig and how you go about doing it (build strategy, function, purpose, cargo size--passenger and gear--, travel plans, etc.). I have a 2011 FJ NSSE in Army Green and love it. If you get the Tacoma and plan on putting an RTT or cab, that's obviously extra $$ for building a set-up on your bed or cab+roof rack. The newer 4Runners have great styling with a more "city driving" interior (IMO). The FJ feels like a comfortable fourby that should be driven outdoors and I don't worry too much about putting pin stripes on it when I hit the trails. There are a few threads on this site that call for roll calls on the FJ, 4Runner and Taco. I'd recommend browsing those threads and see what set up you like and what you want out of your rig. Whatever happens, good luck and keep us posted.
