How were the trail conditions? I've been wanting to take a trip up there to camp for the night but was worried about being without another truck.

How were the trail conditions? I've been wanting to take a trip up there to camp for the night but was worried about being without another truck.

Very dry year, so no snow on the trail. Trail to lake is no big deal, should not be a problem and during the summer the trail sees good use. One spot toward the end of Hawkins Mine (hill clime, see photos) that may give a little trouble. Just need a little ground clearance and common sense for 4W301- Fortune Crk. Trail.
