Love those 2 door monteros, great pics!

I have this book. Funny thing is I was doing a road trip and stopped at a market in Bishop, Ca and bought it on a whim. It has been so useful and made so many trips that much cooler.

That is a good book, i've got a couple copies of the AZ edition.

Just got back from a 2000 mi trip from TX to NC for the holidays (and some wheeling!). Truck did great, didn't miss a beat! I'll get some more pics when I get them off my phone.

Potentially a real dumb question, but how did you do the body lift and keep your front bumper up? Truck looks great!

Thanks! I have the metal to make a new front bumper but didn't have time to do it before the trip. In the meantime I made some spacers out of some DOM to move the bumper up 2" on it's brackets (ie: I kept the OEM brackets the same just spaced the bumper off of them a bit more).

Upgraded tires to 265/75R16

Hi all,

Here is a before and after photo of my 2003 Montero Limited after I installed new tires. Size difference is minimal, but it does make a bit of difference in the appearance. I am not overly interested in "big" tires, but I hate it when the tires look too small.

Old tires: cheapo 265/70R16

New tires: Michelin MTX M/S2 265/75R16 (photo at gas station)
