Ford Transit 350 4x4 and Powerstroke?!

So I was reading up on the bumper buying guide from the main page and found Aluminess and jumped on their page and ran across this Ford Transit 350 4x4 powerstroke! I may be behind on this one, but I hadnt heard anything about the Transit coming in a 4x4 configuration or a diesel option. Didnt know if anyone else had either, but it seems potentially promising. What do you all think?

I think this van looks awesome and better with a lift and decent tires.

Note the Powerstroke badge.

Looks like they're using F150 4x4 parts. Interesting. I'd be curious to see how they stuck it all under there. That's not a stock option, btw.

They come with an I5, 3.2L diesel. Nice little powerplant and decent to work on.

Still nothing on the Quadvan website about them doing conversions on the Ford Transit vans - would have thought they would update it with some details. Sure doesn't look like it added any height to the van...

Ground clearance nullified by low hanging aluminum steps...

Aluminum, yes, but they are made by the same company who made everything else on the van. They do claim to retain ground clearance and offer some rocker protection as well as being a step bar for ease of entry and exit.

We have a diesel Transit at work. Just bought it last year. The boss insisted on a diesel van. Even though I've had terrible experiences with Fords this van was way better than a Sprinter or the Promaster. The idiot dealer told me Chevy quite making diesel vans or we may have had one of those.
Anyway, I do like the van and the engine. It's really quite, smooth, and powerful. We've only got about 7,000 miles on it but it's been good so far. Ours is a 250 outfitted with tool bins and ladder racks. It gets about 17 MPG.
