Need help with a 2013 suburban project

Hey everyone I’m looking for some feedback on what people are using to equip a 2013 suburban.

I have searched forums and discussion posts with little success.

The truck will be mostly highway work. I regularly travel 550 miles to get to my destination, but once there I will potentially travel down logging roads and unimproved roads.

I will camp from the vehicle on occasion

I’m looking for recommendations for the following

Full length flat deck roof rack
Front bumper
Rear bumper
Rear cargo organizer

Thanks in advance

I’m not sure on bumpers for that set up, I think the company is pioneer racks that makes a flat rack, maby I’m wrong on the name but I’ve seen them advertise on here. I got a yakama megawarrior with the extension from etrailer, I’m really happy with it.

Fab Fours for front and rear bumpers for your truck. They also make top racks. Buckstop also makes a front bumper.

Doesn't look like there are many more.

So I'm confused. Is it a 2017 Suburban or a 2013 Suburban? Thread title says 2017, thread text says 2013.

2013 would be a GMT-900, 2017 would be a K2XX Suburban, so that does make a difference.

I think there are some GMT-900 Suburban bumpers out there - check out Ranch Hand bumpers. They're heavy but very rugged.

Don't know about the K2XX (2015 +) trucks though. From what I've seen, accessories don't start to get made until these vehicles move "down market" a bit (i.e. no longer doing limo/soccer mom duty).

Rear bumper would likely have to be fabricated. As for the interior cargo management, that's another area where it would depend on whether it's a GMT-900 or a K2XX. My understanding is that the K2XX Suburbans and Tahoes have the 3rd row that folds into the floor, which cuts into your interior space. As with the rear bumper there is likely to be nothing "off the shelf" so anything you get would have to be fabricated to fit your needs.

sorry for the confusion. I have edited the thread. I am working on a 2013 Suburban.

Thanks for the references
