Got some mud on the tires this weekend on a little 4 day, 3 night trip.
And yes, those are snow flakes.

Love it, but quite jeolous. We live on east coast but vacation in Salida area, this summer we weren't able to get out there. We like to fly fish Hancock Lake and other high mountain lakes, usually rent cabin just down from St. Elmo.

Starting to outfit my burb for a cross country trip and camping. Bought it with the lift. So far only added the tires, roof rack and a Bed Slide in the rear. I have pretty much identified everything I need but am kinda stuck on a winch mount. I guess I can go with a hidden winch mount but would like to find a Bull Bar or Push Bar type (not with full brush guards) but can't seem to find one. Any suggestions appreciated.

Awesome tail. I really enjoyed taking my old CJ and Cherokee through that area. The ledges were neat.

I got my first fullsize this month. Other than being a 4x4 with an auto locking diff, it's about 0% "overland," but it should do a fine job of getting us far away from home, where we can explore the outdoors by foot, bicycle, and canoe.

You'd be surprised how little you need into your vehicle in order to have a great time.

I like to think I have a pretty good idea....

Heck, even stock, you can take any 4x4 truck to the sand dunes and have a great time.

But, once large rocks start popping up in your path, you need skid plates, all terrain tires with some sidewall, and ideally a couple inches of lift.

Who knows what the future holds for this truck, but for now, I'll be enjoying not needing to stop for gas every 350km when towing my T@b, like I needed to do with my lifted Canyon.
