Awnings both up! Monday thru Wednesday I plan on pulling everything out, hook to the truck, and test all the systems. Test the solar, and do a second nut and bolt check. But for now, until the bolt on boxes come in, she's done.

It looks great. Do you have a picture of the gate down with the steps deployed? I don't believe I've seen that and am curious what it looks like. I assume the gate has chains or a wire holding it horizontal?

The gate does, like any regular tailgate. But I have it sealed with tailgate seals. The tailgate stays up however for entry and exit.

Oh, okay. I thought that was a lot of steps for a dropped tailgate. But not knowing the door was so short I had it in my mind it had to drop. That is as short door.

Yes I wanted to keep the ability to drop the tailgate and load bigger items if needed. It's the same size door as a teardrop trailer, just this trailer is so massive it makes that door look small. I could have put a full size door like a FWC or our Hallmark, but this makes it so the trailer can haul more.

Testing systems today, and checked the awnings. All seems to be working well, solar is charging, and I believe it's coming together as planned mostly. I think is ready for camp in a couple weeks. Looking forward to it!

I love the room off the back. I have wanted to do that for my camper. Do you have a link for the room or know where I can get it?

I had forgotten I needed to add the under awning lights, so I wired them up quickly on the 3D printed mount I got off of Etsy.

I can turn it on and off with the button right on the light. I like that simplicity.

Have you used these lights before? Or are they new? Just curious how much light they throw and how many you are using.

No I have not used them before, but the lumens seems right for night, and it seems they have been out a while. I don't want a ton of lighting that makes it obtrusive, we like enough to see and not much more. Having said that, I have it setup to where if I feel we need more, I can add one or two more, but I honestly don't think so. Currently I'm starting with one for each side. We also will have 4 BD squadron work scene flood lights above the canopy to shine outwards if ever needed, but it isn't on the list before we leave unless I get extra time.

Looks great. I see you matched the rims on the trailer so I assume they are the same size? How many spares do you carry?

Is the trailer track width the same as the truck?

Looks like they were meant to be paired together.
