The Bulls are back in town again.
They started showing up about two weeks ago, so far not to much action yet but should start picking up soon as they stake out their territory and rounding up all the cows they can. The rut is fun to watch from a safe distance, you never want to get in between a bull and his harem.

I saw a video yesterday after I posted this starring the bull in the picture giving a park visitor (pv) a couple of love taps with his rack. It looked like the pv was trying to get a selfie with the bull but he wasn’t in the mood for having his picture taken apparently. Heard the pv had to get a few stitches.

In Ruidoso there are a bazillion elk, deer, wild horses, etc. On the golf course about a block away, the bulls have been "singing" every night. It's quite a chorus!

I was recently camping in NW CO, when the hunting season started. I didn't see a single elk the two weeks I was there, but there were plenty of hunters looking for one! They're all in town where the tourists feed them and they know it's safe...

This young critter triggered the camera trying to abscond with my mower.
Still don't know how it managed to get into the shop.
Luckily it did not have long enough arms to operate
