Quigley now doing used Ford & Chevy Vans

I just happened across this announcement on the Quigley 4x4 web site. It may be of interest to some here with late model camper vans....

"Convert Your Pre Owned Vehicle
Limited Time Offer
Convert Your Pre-Owned

If you have visited our web page, you are aware of Quigley Motor Company's policy of converting new untitled vehicles only. To every rule there is an exception!

In 2009, we have that exception. Significant changes in the 2010 GM vans will leave us with inventory that we can not use in our 2010 model year 4x4 conversion production.

Therefore, the unique opportunity exists to have late model vans converted to 4-wheel drive. So for a limited time (as long as the inventory last) Quigley Motor Co., Inc. is offering to convert your pre-owned 2003 to 2009 GM or Chevrolet van to 4-wheel-drive. All components used will be new and current for that model year. The cost of the 4x4 system will be $10,095.00 for gas engine vans and $10,395.00 for the Duramax diesel. Your Pre-Owned van will carry a 12 month /12,000 mile warranty for the Quigley 4x4 system.

Contact our sales department for more details. TEL (717) 266-5631 or TOLL FREE in the US (800) 233-9358."

There's a similar announcement page for Fords, but limited to MY '05-'08.

I wasn't aware that it's old news, but since it's still on their website, so I assume it's still on. Right now, they seem to be trying to use up old parts stock, but I wonder.... If it goes well, maybe they'll be more amenable to doing used vehicles in the future.

BTW, was that your van at Papas and Beer on Brevard Rd. yesterday? If so, very nice!

I'm in favor of a get-together at P&B sometime in the not-too-distant future. Are there ant other ExPo forum members in WNC?

I'm retired, so I can fit something in 'most anytime. I occasionally have out-of-town plans, but rarely at this time of year. A weeknight evening? A Saturday lunch (I think it's crowded then)?

Early Sept. would work fine for me.... I'm leaving for a trip out west sometime a week or two either side of Oct. 1st.
