Re-designed AT Holders

Mario worked his magic once more and re-designed our can holders so they will accept CARB, NATO, and Scepter cans.

We now have one holder that will fit all three :victory:

The customization is now built into the strap, we have three straps
The CARB strap
The NATO/Water can strap
The Scepter can strap.

The holders and straps are made from clear anodized Aluminum $89.00 each
We will be placing an order for a new batch due in January 2010, if you would like to be put on the waiting list please contact me via e mail, martyn at adventuretrailers dot com

The previous 4 batches all sold out before delivery, in spite of us increasing the orders each time. If you need can holders put your name down as soon as possible. We had a lot of disappointed people who waited too long to place their order for the last batch, we'd like to avoid a replay of that.

I'll need your name, shipping details (residential or commercial), a phone number, the number of holder you require and the style of the holder (CARB-NATO-Scepter).

Below is a picture of the CARB spec holder and strap

I know this is a bit off track but are there any plans to make any dual can carriers? I would like to carry cans 4 total in 2 locations so a dual carrier would be best but I love your design, and the aluminum is a great change IMO.

Banks of holders can be created by bolting the holders together using bolts with low profile heads.

I had known about this and it might be my final option. I just liked the model design offered on campinglabs website and I like your overall quality and metal choice. Hoped they might someday be combined.

Martyn, what is the weight difference between the steel AT holder I have and these new aluminum ones?

My truck is going on a diet :ylsmoke:

Will the three new aluminum straps work with the old style steel holders? If so, can the straps be purchased separately? I have both types of jerry cans the Sceptor and NATO.

Doc

The steel ones weigh around 20 lbs a piece, and the aluminum ones weigh 6 lbs.

Yes the straps will fit the old steel holders.

NATO: $12.00
Scepter: $15.00

I just sent you an email.

I am going to replace my two steel ones since I would like the weight savings off the tongue on our trailer.

Thanks for coming out with Scepter versions of these new ones.

Wow, that's a huge difference! Designs look great too, nice job to both the Ms on this one.

Much as I'd like to take credit for the brilliance of the new design Mario is the sole designer. I just smile, tell him what a fantastic job he's done, and tell him to get back to work :wings:

Martyn, what about going the other way, using the old straps on new holders? THe old holders with Nato cans are real rattle traps, especially when the cans are empty. I'd love to go to the tighter holders (and lightening my tongue weight by about 50lbs), and can live with the old straps if it means I can save a few bucks.
