GiSTEQ™ PhotoTrackr™
A GPS photo tracking solution that integrates digital photo with location information for online digital mapping and photo sharing. It also provides trip recording and playback function. (Kai38 [Kirk from NM] told me about this!

Just in case you didn't know of this.

Not sure if this should be here or where? Please move to appropriate place.

Just in case you didn't already know this, if you already have a GPS device you can do the same thing for less (or possably even free).

www.houdah.com is one for the Mac, there are others. It compares the time on your digital camera witht he time on your GPS and syncs the photos to your track. You can then output them as a KML for web posting and sharing.

If you don't have a GPS and want to do photo tagging I'd look into a cheap handheld over the plug in device for the camera. Garmin etrex can be had for very near the cost of the PhotoTrackr with a few more functions.

I saw this device the other day when @BusToAntarctica listed it among his gear. Seems interesting, but yeah I already do the same stuff with my Garmin 60Cx.

If you need a Windows geotagging solution, there are many offerings. I've had good luck with GPicSync.

Excellent info, thanks to all. I merely posted this as yet another way to do this. Just checking into this geo-tagging.
