I guess the age old saying is true...... "Mess with the bull and you will get the horns"...... he is lucky.... any steeper angle and it would have gone right through his brain..... not that he has any to hit I guess.

As much as I love cultural activities- and history

I found the spanish bullfight to be simply a public torturing and death of a normally pretty benighn animal.

last time I went was about 15 years ago and the once was enough

He got what he deserved if you ask me. It's too bad bulls don't get in lucky shots like that more often. The whole sport is a bit barbaric, although that's just my opinion. It's too bad for his family that he got himself killed though.

The unlucky Matador died a couple weeks later. There was a follow up article in the paper. He did NOT survive.

Do you have a source for this info?
I've read he went to the hospital immediately after the injury, then back in after developing an infection, and then back out again.
