hey guys ,, i see peeps asking for photo shop help all the time, soooo, i would like to join in here please and thankyou,

monday at 6pm i will be picking up my brandspanking new 2010 4 door rubicon, apearantly , there are no more dark green or recue green 2010's left so after a long think, i decided that mango tango was the colour for me, it dosnt seem to be as popular and i like to be different anyway,

now here is my problem, i just cant be pulling an O.D. trailer behind my mango jeep , it just wont look right, . the trailer is gonna get a makeover,
i was hoping somebody could chop some colour on my trailer for me so i can show the wife/girlfreind what it should look like .

i would like the frame and fenders to remain black, these will be gettin the bedliner treatment , the tub i would like mango tango and the lid black as well, if it not too much trouble im thinking that the tie downs and hinges and stuff will be powdercoated black also,
i know absolutley nothing bout photochop so i will add several pics, please choose wichever is best and thankyou in advance , bryan

It helps to have a high contrast photo. A green trailer against a green background makes it much more difficult than if you had taken the pictures next to a white warehouse wall or in a bunch of sand dunes.

I tried to do a quick and dirty color change for you, but it was taking too long to get anything reasonable.

a quick 30 second job so no idea if thats close or not to the real color ?
its a bit contrasty as the way I did it was quickest to do that way :)

this is really really tough, i have been driving xj's for 25 yrs, and here i am buying a jk, this morning i saw two lifted xjs heading down the highway, both were outfitted for a fishing trip, i almost cried, i was gonna sell my xj ,but i just cant do it, i would rather bury it in the back yard than let it go,, is that sad or what ?

well the plan is ...... work work work alot of overtime this winter,, thats 7 wheel and tires , new bumpers front and rear, lift kit, rack and im sure there will be a few other little things, i dint even check but is the bolt pattern the same on the rubi as the cherokee? that would also mean new hubs on the trailer too..

I think that the new Rubicons are 5 on 5.5 and the cherokee is 5 on 4.5 but I could be wrong. I know my Grand Cherokee is 5 on 5.5

The Grand Cherokee's are 5 on 4.5", same as the XJ's.

CJ's are 5 on 5.5", and I believe the JK's are 5 on 5".

Never have figured out why they just can't pick one size, say 5 on 5.5", for 1/2 tons, and leave it at that:snorkel:

The Grand Cherokee's (WJ) are different than the Cherokee (XJ). I have one of each and they are definatly different. maybe the Grand Cherokee (ZJ) might be the same as the XJ

yes. my xj is def, 5 on 4.5 15'' wheels i think the rubi is 5 on 5 maybe, i knew i was gonna have to buy new wheels for the jeep, i was hoping i could get away with not changing the trailer hubs , i think i paid 45 bucks for the ones on there now, i dont caary a spare on the trailer cuz they match the xj now, i guees till i get it switched i can use the xj spare for now,, were gonna take the rubi and trailer for the weekend of the 11th for a little get away cuz i had to cancell out of the utah trip,, (major bummer) the new rubi actually showed up at the dealership friday night and will be ready for pick up tomorow, they said it might be a week to get it , and it showed up on the lot the next day,, im tellin ya i got mixed emotions on this, i kinda feel like a traitor , i love my xj, yet im kinda excited to get a new jeep, even if it is not an xj , its still a jeep
