Warn Industries has been teasing their "Big Red" Wrangler for a couple of weeks. For example, here's a shot of the undercarriage

With Currie Industries axles and 40 inch tires, they will be able to put just about any powerplant they want under the hood.

Got in last night to Moab, met up with the AEV guys to say hi, ran Porcupine Rim this AM. Great way to start the week here. Headed to the AEV/Mopar dinner tonight. Should be fun even though I am the only guy crashing the party with a Land Rover. Haha:sombrero:

( buy a CRD in Germany, ship the parts you need to convert a USA spec JK)

I can only wish I could pull this off. The 3-door J8 would probably be a 'better' replacement for the Dodge though

Reports are coming in that AEV is running a prototype 2" SPRING lift and a centered piston gas-charged steering damper. Maybe someone at EJS can confirm - or even better, ask Dave about a possible release date.

Heh heh.. Clyde's a character.. (the guy that built it up).. He's been building Lowriders and sand rails for years and recently started building up Jeeps. He's got a list of magazine cover shots that's longer than the list of them I've ever bought over my life..

The Jeep was Rescue Green until about three weeks ago.. Was built up a bit more and painted Pink and White with the entire purpose of drawing attention for EJS.. Imagine he'll either sell it or repaint it within a few months.

I'll prolly have my H3 in his shop in the next month or few to do a no lift "Spring Over" on the rear..

This is the group they drug out there to play with..

The Orange Jeep is owned by the guy that has the Brute.. 2011 Rubicon that had under 500 miles on it when they left Memphis.. And a 5.7 under the hood..

I'm headed over tomorrow after work. I will be hounding the AEV guys for diesel stuff. Dave has some 'splaining to do! I will also be harassing everyone I can find at the Jeep booth about USA diesel options. I might take my cell phone pocket recorder
