so since my range rover has been running happily with its new engine i've spent the past two solid weeks in it for a daily driver and so far its been nothing short of fantastic anything that i have put it up to so far. sure its great as a city runabout and highway vehicle. a lot of range rovers rarely leave the asphalt. but not this one, i can't resist from exploring anything thats off road, i've been finding myself trying to get lost on gravel roads and looking for any interesting place that i can get myself into.
today was such a day, and my buddy and i stumbled onto an abandoned rail road track. easily accessed from the highway and not restricted -- we ended up driving this trail for a good 15 miles or so before it was turned into a biking trail.
more pix later from the SLR once they're uploaded & edited. up until now i've always had fun small euro cars or muscle cars...this is a totally new kind of fun for me -- never knew i could have so much fun @ 5 mph
