I think I read somewhere that the habitat was attached differently in the Baja models, but I’m not sure.
Unfortunately, 1999 or maybe 2000 was the last year of the side door with the full time bed in the back. I feel like I’m the last 8 months or so I have heard of 3 of those changing hands...
Sorry you had to take that trip, but thanks for the very detailed response here. I inquired about this Chinook back in late September when I was driving close by and got random responses long after I had left.
I didn't want to put his on Facebook, but I will here. September 24th, I offered...
Not mine, but I wish it was lol. Of course if I could get that price, then I would have to sell it. Only afflation is I own a 2000 v10 Chinook Premier (less expensive model).

I have a 2000 Chinook Premier (lower optioned, square window and shorter than the Glacier above.). Mine has 4 lap belts in the dinette, 3 for the couch and obviously 2 seatbelts for the front seats. That was part of the appeal.
I would have preferred a side door with the fixed bed in the back...
Looks great! I would love more details. I recently bought a 2000 Chinook Premier with 200k miles. It runs great right right now. I basically finished fixing all the systems, and I am going to use it for a year before any major changes. If we decide to keep it, I really want 4x4. My ideal...
Price went up to $42k. Looks like a cool little camper. I don't see a spare tire, and I doubt it is under the back since the black water tank would most likely be there. I also don't see a generator or AC. That does make the roof line nice if you don't "need" it.
