IMHO payload trumps the consideration here. You *will* end up overweight at some point. Might as well start with a bigger cushion.

Depends on your licensing entity. Here you pay a luxury tax on a F250 but a F350 is deemed commercial (but no CDL or such needed). Ergo F350 are 10:1 F250 but go somewhere where you need a CDL equivalent for an F350 and all of a sudden there are tons of F250 and no F350 to be seen. The games...

I agree, the EXP model is intriging and somewhat unique. The Terranova isn’t unique enough…. I would have thought maybe a Bliss Mobil model would work. A box that you add options to and supply your own truck. FX and EXP would fit that model.

They know your truck is doing those things but not who is driving….. unless there is a driver camera as well.

Doesn't mean the back wall is slanted, just the edges/C pillars are. Was the same for the Honda Ridgeline..... And for me, a SUV is more practical but if you need an open bed this might be a good option. Maybe the SUV version would be a revived Durango??

There is at least 1 YouTube channel with a guy with a R1T who's done some decently crazy stuff offroad. There was one where he was with a couple lifted Jeeps and kept up just fine. Honestly it comes down to 2 things. 1) Are you willing to take your $100K toy into where it might get damaged...

It might be your plan. If you signed up as a roam customer (vs residential) you are deprioritized. Meaning if someone on a priority plan wants your bandwidth they get it it. Good old QoS at work :(

I did for our Class A. 5 years no issues. 2x12 cut 36” , 24“ , and 18”. I needed a bunch of lift. Used pressure treated lumber from HomeDepot and some random left over screws. No paint, just parked on them as I needed. Hardest part was running up on to them. Drive into the driveway, line...

But that's a win for towing. 7500# towing 10=14K is a decent ratio IMHO. 1500 size with 2500 payload/towing. About the only downside is 5th wheel capability. Short bed, shorter wheelbase = bad 5th wheel use case. Bumper pull is awesome tho. Put a cap and bed slide on and off you go.

Just an update to answer my own thread. Bruder numbers are dry. ADX-21 GVW is 7700, tongue is ~10% . So ~1500# NCC which is pretty decent and now it's very similar weights and capacities to a Pause. Which makes way more sense.

Yup that situation would be a hard pass for me too. I'd leave my phone # just in case, but yeah I'd be moving on to other options.

There is a local (to me) rigging company. They are strictly commercial stuff but it's all the same. See if there is a crane/rigging supply co near you. Then you don't get the "toy tax" premium but you still get certified, quality gear.
