Overlander Ridge - rugger RV or expedition vehicle?

These guys build rental class C for Fraserway so they are geared for generic RV supplier stuff. They are eastern ish WA state but still build to generic Indiana quality. Good for the price but not great. I do wish they'd bring back the F550 model they had. It was a decent mix of RV space +...

Ford Takes @ $20 BILLION ‘Write Down’ and Dumps the EV F-150 Lightning

Honestly for the Overlander crowd (small market in the grand scheme of things) an EREV makes the most sense. Lots of low end torque, EV in town but some sort of generator for towing or extended bush driving. If RAM makes the RAMCharger in a Rebel format and Ford makes a F350 EREV those are...

The real answer to this question isn't which one, but which one first?

    Grenadier layoffs

Agreed on the volume of brand aggregation is over. But then if you're BMW how do you grow? It's not like they have a Grenadier in their portfolio. Mercedes has their G Wagon, maybe it gets to compete there? Dunno. Competition is good, this particular vehicle is cool and a real kick in the...

    Grenadier layoffs

Parts choices could also be an exit strategy. IE BMW buys Ineos and runs it like the Mini brand. GM or Ford wouldn’t do that, nor are they really shopping for more brands these days. Toyota isn’t a buyer, they are builders, plus they already have the Land Cruiser market to protect. We see...

    Better Starlink Mini travel cases?

I use a laptop sleeve. Works great for suitcase storage for non truck trips. Cheap case at Bentley Luggage in a mall. Keeps the starlink, standard cable, plug and an extra 3 in 1 Amazon cable for cars (cig, USB and normal starlink).

    Paralysis by analysis on purchase

IMHO payload trumps the consideration here. You *will* end up overweight at some point. Might as well start with a bigger cushion.

ThAir Camper new drop stitch "hard" side full truck camper discussion thread.

Both are really cool ideas. Only downside I can see is limited windows/light.

    F 250 Tremor = F 350 rear axle?

Depends on your licensing entity. Here you pay a luxury tax on a F250 but a F350 is deemed commercial (but no CDL or such needed). Ergo F350 are 10:1 F250 but go somewhere where you need a CDL equivalent for an F350 and all of a sudden there are tons of F250 and no F350 to be seen. The games...

    EarthCruiser is closing!?!?!

I agree, the EXP model is intriging and somewhat unique. The Terranova isn’t unique enough…. I would have thought maybe a Bliss Mobil model would work. A box that you add options to and supply your own truck. FX and EXP would fit that model.

Is Your GM Truck or SUV “Spying” On You?

They know your truck is doing those things but not who is driving….. unless there is a driver camera as well.

Sneak Peek….Dodge Mid Sized Pickup Design Leaked!

Doesn't mean the back wall is slanted, just the edges/C pillars are. Was the same for the Honda Ridgeline..... And for me, a SUV is more practical but if you need an open bed this might be a good option. Maybe the SUV version would be a revived Durango??

Rivian “Off Roading” Charging Station Makes the News

There is at least 1 YouTube channel with a guy with a R1T who's done some decently crazy stuff offroad. There was one where he was with a couple lifted Jeeps and kept up just fine. Honestly it comes down to 2 things. 1) Are you willing to take your $100K toy into where it might get damaged...

Will Jeep and Ram Truck Prices Take a Steep Dive Soon?

And all that Ford aluminium is Canadian. To say the tariffs and auto manufacturing is complicated is a massive understatement.
