priorities......
Have been switched this week...........but I did get around to using the Jeep spare to look at the fitment.
First is an Imperial Red of my son's creation and the second is a Rye IPA also of my son's creation. We have a third, a Rye Stout, fermenting as well but I didn't get a...
bed off
Okay do now with the bed off its time to get a little more serious. Reviewing the list of "must haves" and "wants" I'm starting to visualize the trailer.
Passenger side rear to front
Box 1
Sink, and related cleaning stuff
Box 2
Stove, dishes, eating/cooking utensils, plates, cups...
Weight Watchers....
Okay so far I have removed the frame, the front (but really rear) bulkhead, the ladder rack, and the bumper. All worth a whopping 678 pounds. I originally guestimated the trailer at 600-700 pounds. The frame alone was almost that......

we dont need no stinkin' issues.....

Booger welds.....
So the fun begins.
So after watching all the great trailer builds on this site I decide to jump in......

Trailer is now in the garage and undergoing the teardown........box is solid but on backwards (??) and the owner previous to the one I bought it from did some really funky things with the frame. I had pretty much decided to trash the frame anyway for a lighter, more straight forward one so no...
nwoods-thanks for the concerns and the heads up. I honestly don't think we will get past the resevoir-I honestly don't think I'm gonna try in the LJ. I'll go with my friend in his Rubi once we make camp. I'll be sure to put Jawbone and Calico on the to do list.
mmmlafayette-LOL. Thats why...
Thanks Guys.
We have plans to put two Blitz cans on either side of center and a high lift bracket and shovel in the middle in front of the spare tire. Thats why it's angled off the back a bit. Eventually I'm going to buy the Rotopax system to replace the jerry cans.
We debated on the wings...
A fellow Jeeper and I finally started to put a bumper together (okay he's doing most of the work....) for my 2005 LJ. We test fit it today and the only reason we didn't get it finished is we ran out of shielding gas  We're hoping to get it done in time for our trip on the Dusy-Ershim...
