Sure-Fire Ways to Improve Your Roof Top Tent

Surprised about you friend experiencing problems with the finish not aging well (assume your are referring to the exterior finish). I have a 10+ year old James Baroud that is doing well. I do wax it "generously" every year, which I believe is helpful in maximizing the life of the exterior finish.

    2017 F-550 Camper Build - Ground Up

Looks like Road Armor - very nice if you have potential for animal strikes. Maybe not the most aerodynamic, but it certainly looks effective!

    My first Overland Expedition Vehicle

My first "overlanding" rig was a 1977 F100 2WD truck with a Winnebago insulated cap that stuck up about 18 inches above the top of the truck cab on an 8 foot truck bed. I built an air dam in front of the portion that stuck up above the cab which helped out a lot with aerodynamics - but looked a...

    FYI- BAJA NORTE VIOLENCE.

In 2018 I participated in a two week trip to the Copper Canyon entering Mexico at Douglas AZ and returning through Lukeville AZ. We had had a number of interactions with both Cartel groups and wanna-be Cartel punks. Here is my take on the situation in mainland Mexico at that point in time - I am...

    Locking Air Chuck Recommendations

I have used a few different versions of twist on tire inflation air chucks and highly recommend this design over any of the other clamp on styles i have used. https://a.co/d/1tLHmna

E-350 Cutaway with Total Composites Box

This is looking very nice - I'm going to be following this with much interest! So a three point mounting arrangement with a rear pivot point. The rear cross member and bearing / busing must be a monster!

    INEOS Grenadier

So far I have like what I have seen. I had a chance to crawl around under a prototype in Calgary last summer (?). In general I liked what I saw. I also think the midship electronics is a great idea - keeps them away from the heat of the engine bay and any water that finds its way into the engine...

New Camper Build - THE OVERL[h]ANDER

Very nice work on the panels - based on the quality of the design & workmanship I'm guessing you are control system engineer or panel builder.?

    Grand Canyoneering

Looks like I might have to retire earlier than I was planning - the list of places I have to get to keeps getting longer! Thanks for a great trip report - very motivating!

    INEOS Grenadier

Yes I got an email this morning with the following statement: A landmark moment. Another major milestone. And music to all our ears. We’ve started series production of our rugged 4X4. That’s right. Grenadiers are now rolling off the production line at our facility, in Hambach. All thanks to...

    New gaiagps map feature?

There are a number of rules around the number of tiles that you can have grouped as an individual map. The Gaia help files address this pretty well. Also there seems to be some issues / limitations associated with the inclusion of large urban areas in your offline map downloads. This is just a...
