Part 10 [Mather Point]

The wife and I spent one of our days of the trip at the Grand Canyon. She had never been before.

We parked and took our first views around Mather Point.

Part 11 [Desert View Watchtower]




The tower was closed for some sort of major maintenance project. But the surrounding views were still good.

Part 12 [The Big Ditch]

We slowly made our way back to the Grand Canyon Village from the tower, stopping at various places along the way.

Part 13 [Sunset at Pipe Creek Vista]

Our plan was to stop near sunset at a viewpoint and watch until daylight faded. We executed that plan here.

The last part of the trip to share. We visited Montezuma's Castle & Montezuma's Well.

We drove the rental car back to Las Vegas, making sure to stay away from the stip. We flew home.

I don't know when I'll get the chance to see the Grand Canyon again.

After all those pictures I believe I may cancel my Grand Canyon hike. I feel like I just did it.
