Not sure if you're set on Redarc, but I'm running the Victron 18A isolated DC-DC charger in mine - - and it's worked great.

If you liked the A/T3W (I loved mine as well) then look at the A/T4W that just came out, lots of nice improvements over the A/T3W, IMO.

They only work with expansion batteries they provide, no way to connect generic batteries or standard LiFePO4 batteries, unfortunately.

The frame-bending issues, at least with the Colorado/Canyon, have been due to extremely hard hits while carrying or towing a load off-road. Sometimes it happens because someone isn't using common-sense and just sends it, other times it's just someone being caught out by a sudden whoop/dip...

EcoFlow offers battery expansion options as does Jackery, they have portable power stations that can have multiple extra batteries connected to increase the total battery capacity by quite a bit.
