@concretejungle we've been through numerous rigs including 2 VW vans, a fifth wheel, a Class C motorhome, a Ford Focus with tent, two travel trailers, almost landed on a Defender TD5 with an alucab pop top (so very cool) and are now in an F150 with a travel trailer and use our Subaru forester...

Just updating on this....I saw these units at the BC outdoor show this weekend. It's actually a very nice product from what I saw. Solid build, flip up beds (which is super handy and not all companies do this) and the price is very competitive (keep in mind these are Canadian dollars).

Not sure how soon you need your new vehicle but if you wait until their "family pricing" event you can save quite a lot bringing it closer to or even less than the Jeep. We got a great deal on an F150 last year (though "great deal" in today's market prices is still ridiculously obscene for what...

Consider buying one out of Spain (you're not too far away). They are generally better condition due to the drier climate.

We have a '23 Forester. Change the tires to a Falken Wildpeak A/T, throw in a lunolife mattress and you'll be surprised just how far you can go....and get back ;)
