LC250 Pop top

I'm a fan of the new Landcruiser. What does the collective group here think the possibility is of AluCab or another company creating a pop top for the LC250? I know AluCab recently developed one for the Grenadier but I also recognize that vehicle has a different production/assembly which makes it somewhat easier.

Any thoughts?

Just reviving this as I have an update which kinda makes sense. I heard back from a legitimate and well known company responding to my query regarding a pop top conversion for the LC250. They stated it would likely not happen as the airbags and narrow roof make it difficult.

i think the biggest issue is that they don't like to "engineer" for anything more complicated than cutting a hole in the center and then installing a camper on top. There needs to be some consideration for the air bags, any harnesses run down the centerline, and also making sure in a side impact they'll properly deploy.

Building a wedge limits the standing room you have only to the footprint of the trunk area behind the 2nd row. With Campteq on the GX 470 or 80 series, there's no airbag complication. That's unfortunate since I believe that people would still want this configuration. It's befuddling that Grenadier could have this, but the 250 cannot?

That said, I would love to see a 4 corner pop up like the AT Overland Atlas or FWC. Any time you can provide more living space in the overhead section, I think that's a win for everybody.
