    Fuso performance chip

Waldemor, The temperature issue you are having is a false reading. In 2007 we had an issue with false overheat readings on the gauge. There is a fix. It requires a diode installed on a specific wire. Email me @ kmtc4@sbcglobal.net and I can send you instructions, and a list of supplies needed...

    Fuso inadequate AC system fixed

Just so all of you know, This is not an approved repair by FUSO. This was a temp. fix by people at a dealer that just began selling these trucks that lack the proper training of the brand. There never was nor is there currently any service bullitins or recalls related to the a/c system on these...

    Fuso performance chip

I have not heard of Steinbauer chips before. However I can say I have seen 3 trucks now with the DP chip, and all 3 were working exceptionally well. 1 of which we installed here. I do not generally endorse any products here, however I spent much time on the phone with the gentleman at DP chip...

    Fuso FG Production halt?

All Mitsubishi truck productions were halted for 2010. However it had nothing to do with inventory or any of that. it was done to prep the assembly lines and retool for the new design truck, and implementation of the new "world" engine and transmission.

    Visitors from down under

Recently we had the privilege of a visit from some expedition fanatics from Australia. What wonderful people, and such amazing stories of travel. It was exciting to see the Cantor's and see all the engineering involved. Thank you for the visit. John, and Kym were wonderful guests, and we look...

    Air conditioning kaput

This a/c system was addressed in the early stages, and we found the a/c filters under the dash extremely dirty. Owner was instructed on how to maintain those in the conditions and remote areas he was in to avoid these type of failures.

New engine for Fuso FG in 2011

Just a quick note. Details are emerging, and are limited, and while I cant say much at this point, I can however say that this is not a Mercedes influenced or designed engine. There is another main player involved in the development of this engine, however it is not who you would expect. Fiat...

Fuso FG not made for off-road

Corrections True there is an angle front to rear of the camper to the sub frame, and this is in relation to the way the under framing of the camper done by Santek. When parked on level ground the camper is 100% level at all four corners. This was observed at our dealership by the fabricator...

Fuso FG not made for off-road

some modifications needed We actually thought that the sub frame was allowing the camper to sit 1 inch lower on the left and in fact after much measuring found that the camper built by Santek was actually one inch longer front to rear on the left side which when you looked at it from the rear...

Fuso FG not made for off-road

The Tubes The tubes are in fact for a bushing that is for a torsion free mounting for the camper. It is a new design concept.

    Cooling the cab

A/c concerns In most cases we find that the radiator and condenser fins are plugged with dirt form the dirt roads traveled on. I recommend blowing the fins out on a regular basis. This will allow the engine to run cooler, and the a/c to blow cooler. You must also remember that when the a/c is...

Fuso FG not made for off-road

My official word. Ok. Let me be very clear so that people here can understand what I say as fact. The stock Fuso FG is not designed to go to remote areas, with extreme road conditions. I will tell you that now and if you were interested in purchasing it. Nobody has ever taken a stock Fuso FG...
