In Utah, this is considered a truck camper (with a floor) and is subject to registration which includes both sales and property tax. If the new owner is pulled over without camper registration, they will be met with some very sad news.

In my county, there would be $6,125 of sales tax. I imagine there would be very little tax in MT.

I just acquired the tent with a new overland built truck. I set it up in the driveway and it looks complete and unused (no annex room). New price is $2,995 + shipping + tax and I believe they are backordered. This is an opportunity to save $1600 or so on one of the best tents available...

I would consider that if a buyer were willing to pay $46,000. I'd rather sell it cheaper to a cash buyer however.

Hi Hossier, I wouldn't recommend it due to the tongue weight. It's significantly larger than the trailers you are looking at.
