I drilled and tap into the stock turbo. Figured it'd be a more accurate temp reading by encompassing all 4 cylinders than just one. Also great news on the manifold! I've been in contact with them as well; planning on making the purchase in the new year.

I hope someone corrects me if I'm wrong...it's my understanding that the turbo flange used on our Mitsubishi trucks with 4D34 (at least on my 2000 FG639) is a DSM T25 flange, which apparently is slightly different than the standard T25 flange. Furthermore the Holset HX30 series use a T3 flange...

^^ That's going to be your best option if you want a truck with a modern chassis and engine that's turn key.

Never would have thought it'd be the rear diff. That's great to know. Another poster here awhile back suggested adding a friction modifier along with the usual rear diff fluid to help things move along.

I just installed a boost gauge in mine. Will give the truck a spin this weekend and report back.

My first thought is perhaps 4x4 is still engaged somehow. Perhaps the drivetrain is fighting against dry asphalt?
