Outpost Truck Campers

I got a heartfelt plea in my email today from Outpost saying that the tariffs that Donald Trump implemented could very well sink their business. That makes me sad for them, but unfortunately I think this is the plan. Colorado has been one of the most woke States and the real problem lies with State governance. I think Donald Trump's plan is to implement Nationwide tariffs, collect all of the money and then redistribute it back to Red States. So my advice to Outpost would need to move to another state. That is more Trump friendly. They have themselves a Colorado problem. Just like a lot of people have themselves a California problem.
Bless your heart.

I am picking mine up May1. Do you have details and pics of the custom box for your 8ft bed as I am thinking of doing the same?

Here is before powder coat. It is custom made to fit on camper and be flush. 22in wide and 26in tall. It will be attached to the camper and come off with camper. Putting a fuel cell under it for extended range and fill space. I pick up April 30 now. Maybe May 1. You getting the new model?

Interesting. I was thinking of doing something similar. What did you pay for this cabinet and who made it? Do you have plans that you could share?
Yes, I'm getting the new model. I added the front window, A/C, Heater, extra PV panel, and water heater (small tank at the bottom of the closet).

How is it powered? Any other details?
It is a 12v water boiler. This is the one they are installing on my build. I had a brief discussion with them about this as I preferred a diesel water heater over an electric know how much energy an electric water heater would consume. Eberspacher makes a combination unit that heats both the air and water and I was hoping that they would be able to substitute that for the air-only heater, but they said no. They charged me $1,000 for the water boiler option. It will be located at the bottom of the tall rear closet. Having a hot/warm water shower in the winter is worth its weight in gold. I would be willing to fire up a portable generator to replace the energy of heating the water. I have done cold water showers in the winter and it really sucks the energy our of you and it takes awhile to get your heat back. I plan to use the camper skiing in CO and need a hot/warm water shower.

You will love the boiler. The power draw is really not that bad. Water will stay warm for a long time as it sits in an insulated housing.
