Sorry... missed this posting. Our interior bike platform has been in our 2019 Crew Cab Super Duty and currently 2020 Extended Cab; it bolted right in no modification between trucks. However we had to rework it to fit our Trek Rail eMTB. Still using it. Love it.
We've been testing the Nitto Recon Grappler AT 37x11.5R17 on our Bronco. It is a sweet tire size and specs are great too. 3,970 load capacity @ 65lbs. 70.61 lbs. 3 ply sidewall (unlike the Wildpeak) great for airing down off road. Rather quiet. Significantly quieter than the Toyo RT Trail...
I think you'd notice more benefit having the front shocks adjustable and rear static. You'll gain more ride improvement from the front suspension unloaded with adjustable shocks. Adjustable rear shocks combined with leaf springs built for hauling weight won't change the ride quality...
Rear suspension is setup for 3,500lb constant load. Typically the camper and truck fully loaded is ~ 3,000lbs. The enclosed trailer adds 400-500lb tongue weight which transfers weight from the front axle for ~ 750lb increase on the rear axle.
Shock re-valve was 1 step down from original...
It’s replacement time! After 3 years and 32k miles!

@TonyCatmandu - Thanks so much for sharing your build and following along! It's great to see the inspiration you took and your build choices. It's fun to modify and build for your own needs and use. There are many routes to take with pros/cons to each.
Our goal is to provide ideas and show...
We have the 1/2" diameter version. Easier to store and use (fits well into the filler neck). Been using it for over 3 years. We fill the aux tank nearly ever fill (except if staying in town).

We have a 12v heated blanket that makes the dinette enjoyable in the cold. Diesel or gas heater is the best solution as they run variable speed. The cold is a constant intruder so a constant heat source is the best to give comfort. RV heaters are blow torches and will help defrost but not...
I don't think skids are needed. We've done much more off road than most with no issues. It would require a freak situation to puncture the transmission or engine oil pan. With the trade-off being added weight, service inconvenience and cost. I would recommend HD differential covers if you...
