We custom ordered this truck camper in 2020 and modified it to function off grid for extended periods of time. This camper has no slides. It has many features found in Expedition Campers for a fraction of the weight and cost. 4 Season / Cold Weather Ready. Ideally suited for 2 people...

@rruff - Good feedback on the digressive valving. Icon shocks are valved this way (we have the electronic valve shocks on our 2dr Bronco). It is always surprising when small bumps are semi firm/harsh and big hits are pillow soft.
Our Super Duty FOX 2.5 resi shocks have adjustment for low...
@IdaSHO - Well stated. We have only had bear issues in the Tahoe Area (multiple years) for reasons you mentioned. Rubicon trail has multiple "campground" bears frequenting campsites.
We prefer the less populated areas as well.
My experience has been that most "performance" suspensions can mitigate sway bars (assuming sprung + valved properly for actual vehicle weight). On the cheaper end: OME & Bilstein products. And higher performance: Fox, King, Radflo, Icon, ADS...
You need to test handling (in safe manner) and...
Agreed. We've traveled all over the backcountry and never have wildlife issues... Except for populated areas. Bad management for sure. These animals need to be exterminated not relocated after becoming domesticated. Trash dumpster bears are the worst. Major problem in the Lake Tahoe area.
Our NorthStar Liberty Truck Camper is just over 4 years old. It has held up well and been trouble free with proven durable build quality.
But then a Bear Attacked it during the summer... We had our Truck Camper parked in Lake Tahoe for 2 nights while on the Rubicon Trail with our Yamaha RMAX 2...
Who else runs with no sway bars?
We've been running without sway bars on for over 4 years with the truck camper and towing. My experience has been with proper springs (designed for the loaded travel weight) and tuned shocks (larger diameter is helpful: 2.5"+ diameter) you'll be amazed at the...
Been busy on the camper this past couple weeks! Getting it fully dialed before photos/video and posting for sale.

@emulous74 - I'm guessing our mpg has much to do with travel speed and driving style. We rarely drive over 65mph. Turbo motors are generally more efficient with semi rapid acceleration and then cruising (out of boost). Slow acceleration will result in poorer economy (from my experience with...

a 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor named "Dino"
Thanks to everyone who has followed along on our previous build projects. Incredible to see our 2020 Ford F250 posting with well over 100k views!
Our plans with this build is to change things up a bit. We've had several real estate projects consuming...
We are selling our mostly stock Tacoma (sooo hard to not modify). This would make an excellent commuter or base overland platform.
Purchased new in 2021 with less than 100 miles for my wife. We have used it for hauling MTB bikes, some commuting, road trips and home depot trips. No Kids. No...
