I've just spent the last couple of hours reading this. I'm floored. Great read and I'm looking forward to the rest. Your attitudes are simply amazing. Thank you for taking the time to write this up.

    Blue Sea Fuse Blocks

Same one I have. I snipped the bus so I could have 6 switched and 6 non-switched circuits. Works out really well.

    Netbook vs. iPad...

Technology choices are always difficult. The iPad is a game changer in many many ways and right now Microsoft/HP/Dell/etc are still in shock over how fast it has taken hold. As much as they'll try, and as much as the competition would be good for Apple, they won't ever catch up. For GPS, I have...

That's a really nice swing out setup. I've been researching a few different options myself as I'd like to the cans off the roof as well. Great truck you've built.

Mounting a Go Pro Hero HD camera in vehicle.

I don't have a GoPro, yet, but I use this mount from FilmTools for my cameras in and out of the truck. It's solid once mounted.

    Camera Bags

My main travel containers consist of a Pelican 1650 (water housing, ports, tools, parts, etc), a LowePro backpack (the big one which fits my 500) and a Manfrotto tripod bag. The airlines love me for showing up with a 40lb backpack on a trans-pacific flight. ;) I also have several smaller LowePro...

Artistic Shots- Well thought out, framed (positioned), artistic shots only please.

Thanks Thanks. It was totally insane there that day. I was there during the Australian Open and the Japanese absolutely love Tiger Woods. I parked the car and started walking and it was bus after bus after bus. I love the Japanese and their culture and I was there for hours just people...

Found a Box of Old Cameras

Feel free to send me the Leica and Rodenstock. I'll be more then happy to put them to good use. :sombrero: Seriously though, what an awesome find. The Leica is an unreal camera. You should keep it and use it. It'll go forever. That's the viewfinder for when you use the 50mm lens on the Leica...

Artistic Shots- Well thought out, framed (positioned), artistic shots only please.

In November of '09, I was in Melbourne for a bit over 2 weeks on a work trip. There's been a few places in the world where as soon as I've stepped off the plane, I feel at home. Melbourne was one of them. Driving on the left was a trick the first few hours but by the last few days of the trip, I...

    HDR Processing

your other option is to go old school. grab some of these and treat it like film. do as much work in camera as possible. :)

    HDR Processing

I haven't done a lot of it as I still haven't quite decided whether I'm a fan of it or not. If it's done correctly, I think it's great but most of the examples I've seen are so over the top. Scott Kelby sometimes has a decent tip or two on HDR. Here's one he posted a couple of months back...

Really? COM? Is it an embedded system? I haven't written any COM interfaces in over 10 years. Seems like an outdated choice but I'll take a look around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
