Thanks @Whaler. Originally it was riveted down every 3 inches to the portion that factory rack bars would bolt to. This did a decent job but being in San Diego It hasn’t seen serious storms yet.

Interesting. I’ll have to look into that rail style more while considering the geometry of the shocks. The current setup doesn’t ride bad at all, just thinking long term durability as well.

I run a 15x8 steel procomp wheel on my XJ. Mine sit fairly stances out with 3.75” backspacing and a 32x11.5” MT. I do believe the wheel comes in a less offset option that would work great with a 235-75-15 or even 31” all terrain. I run the 1069 series and no complaints after a year. Sent from...

Fabbed up a quick bracket to replace the snapped bar pins on the rear shocks of my XJ. Trying to think of any better methods of mounting the shocks without cutting into the cab, otherwise may remake these a little bit beefier and weld it directly into the factory crossmember system.
